Sketching is about more than just drawing, it's about idea development
Exploratory sketching is an electivethat I feared might be about motor skills too much, but ended up being far more about how to get what you want out of a drawing the most efficient way. It provided me with a creative outlet when I needed it, but has also already proven itself as valuable in Industrial Design projects.
I not only made huge steps purely in learning to sketch, I also learned how sketching can be a huge plus in developing ideas. I used what I learned in this elective heavily troughout my project and will continue to develop in using sketching for communication and exploration.
